PRESENTATION TO GARDEN ROUTE TURF MANAGERS ASSOCIATIONRecently Mark and Grant were asked to address the Garden Route Turf Managers Association. This was arranged for their June meeting at Goose Valley Golf Club, and a presentation was given by Mark and Grant on the design and technical aspects of our recent Putting Course project in Doha, Qatar. The meeting was well attended by Turf Managers and industry professionals from the Garden Route area, and we would like to extend a special thanks to Graeme Armstrong of Oubaai Golf Club for hosting us and for arranging a most enjoyable round of golf the day before the meeting.

Mark Gains EIGCA Associate Membership
In December 2011 Mark travelled to Amsterdam along with 13 other candidates to upgrade his membership of the European Institute of Golf Course Architects (EIGCA). After interviews and a stringent 2 day examination by the EIGCA membership committee of practical skills Mark was given the approval by the Membership Committee. Only seven of the thirteen candidates were successful and in May 2012 Marks status as an Associate Member of the was formalised at the AGM of EIGCA in Nice, France. http://www.eigca.org/news/EIGCA84783.ink
